This blog is created as the Aimst Anime Club official blog, courtesy of EXkurogane (Events Manager) to introduce some change in the club as well to share new anime titles, news, and possibly stuff about Japan. I go by the pseudonym EXkurogane online in forums and blogs. I also invite anyone in the club who can update this blog to join in and post. New announcements specifically on activities will be posted both here and in facebook page (please do check the chatbox of the blog!).
Club Logo
I’d like to recommend, the club’s logo and the name to be changed and I hope someone will do that. The name “Mirai” firstly is unoriginal. Let’s not talk about Tsubasa Chronicle here, famous blogger and ambassador of anime for Japan, a Malaysian, Danny Choo, his official mascot is a self-designed anime character called Mirai Suenaga. The word Mirai is a mascot name for Danny Choo. Once the logo and name is final, I will change the profile pic and banner of this blog- to include the logo as this is still a relatively new club.
Attaching images in this blog
I wish anyone (not just me) who would like to post here to get the login password from me personally. Images that are to be posted in posts, please do not upload them directly into blogger, as they resize the images into very small resolutions. Please use imageshack. An account specifically for our club’s blog’s use in imageshack has been set up with the same email and password as the login for this blog. They have unlimited space provided for uploads, unlike blogger which only gives you 1 Gb.
Now, as a first post, to some anime fans who follows new episodes one by one, here is a list of new animes which started broadcasting weeks ago (click the link on the title). The ones I listed below, I do have a copy for some of them, and I highly recommend them. These animes have only around 3-4 episodes released only so far. You can read the summary on what these anime is about in the provided link.
Now, to make things clear, some members do not seem to understand the definition of ecchi. Ecchi is defined as the presence of scantily-clad scenes or topless/semi-nude scenes but not equivalent to sex, hentai, or pornography. The scenes are meant for those of interest to view their favourite anime characters undressed, or usually as a part of comedy. For example, a guy trips over and accidentally pulls down a girl’s skirt/track bottom suit/tube top/the towel of girl that just walked out from a bath, etc, revealing the girl in a semi-nude condition. It has no pornography or hentai elements.
Please be open to discuss these stuff, as I don’t want to hear over-sensitive members trolling this blog for such issues. For an avid anime fan and an otaku who builds both Gundam kits and collect figurines, who watches such ecchi genres as well as entertainment, I’m also taking care not to involve such topics, especially posting pictures of them in this blog if possible, but I have the right to recommend related anime to anyone who is interested. =)
Lastly, I would like to wish everyone an advanced Happy Chinese New Year. Here’s some image for you to digest. =) Well, let’s just forget the “2010” figure there, I can’t find a decent one with 2011. =.=;
